Daughters of the American Revolution gather at Lytle Cemetery to memorialize and honor Captain William Lytle

Daughters of the
American Revolution (DAR), Captain William Lytle Chapter of
Murfreesboro, Tennessee

On Saturday, May 27, 2017, members of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Captain William Lytle Chapter of Murfreesboro, TN, gathered to memorialize and honor the life and military service of Revolutionary War Patriot, Captain William Lytle, at the Lytle Cemetery located in Murfreesboro.

Participating chapter members were Regent Cindy Kline, Registrar Susan Daniel, Historian Bethany Hall (and daughter Lilly), Treasurer Robin Knowles, Chaplain Dacia Berry, member Patricia Raines, and guest Jane Blakely.  Honoring Captain William Lytle at the Lytle Cemetery has been an annual event for the DAR Chapter for the last few years and typically occurs around the Memorial Day Holiday.  Several family members of Captain William Lytle are also interred in the Lytle Cemetery, which is located near Haynes Lumber at 739 NW Broad Street in Murfreesboro.
