History Break “Lieutenant H.F. Nuckles Kentucky” – Stones River National Battlefield

Stones River National Battlefield volunteer Mike Warfield reads a letter, written by Lieutenant H.F.  Nuckles, 4th Kentucky (Orphan Brigade), February 9, 1863, more than a month after the Battle of Stones River.  The letter notifies the family of fallen Confederate soldier, Henry Hall, killed by a cannon ball, during the battle’s last day, January 2, 1863.
