FROM BILL JAKES: “On a snowy day, much like today (ed. January 11, 2021), photographer Lee Lively took a stroll around town and snapped a few pictures.
This photo was taken on North Maple Street, near the present day Rutherford County health Department parking lot. It appears Lee Lively should have carried a compass with him since his camera was pointing North when he took the photo, but he labeled it saying it was looking South.
This photo is a little more than 100 year old.
