Saturday’s Rutherford County Field Trip was still another unqualified success thanks to super volunteer Carol Robertson White.
White organized a trip for more than a dozen members and non-members of the Rutherford County Historical Society to dine at Firehouse Subs then tour Murfreesboro’s cutting-edge Fire Station No. 4 located on Medical Center Parkway.
The tour, conducted by the fire fighters of Fire Station No. 4, gave the local historians a fun and entertaining tour of the 2019 firehouse but also included a tour of the History and Educational Room, which features a fully restored 1892 Ahrens Steam Engine.
