Sam Davis Home associates and Tennessee State Legislature admirers of Tiffany Johnson were able to surprise her August 7 with House Joint Resolution 523, recognizing Johnson for her work at the Sam Davis Home.
Reps. Tim Rudd, Charles Sargent, Tim Wirgau, Dawn White, Bryan Terry, Mike Sparks and State Senator Jim Tracy arranged for the document, signed by Governor Bill Haslam to especially recognize Johnson for creating a strategic plan for the historic home, as well as improving the front office and contracting functions, and for creating a number of special programs interpreting the Sam Davis Home.
